OOC: a latter canon primer

Hello, all!  This post is meant to explain, clarify, and lay down some ground rules for what will happen from today until sometime in March regarding Shinji's canon.  Major spoilers abound in this so be warned.

It's nice to have a day off from everything.  There's no school and no tests with the Evas scheduled so.  I think I'll just do my chores today and listen to my music.  Oh, and Willow, look.  [picks up a black cell phone and smiles sheepishly] I found it.  It was just in the drawer and I for--

[it rings.

he takes one glance at the number and picks up instantly, the conversation rushed and urgent.  he hangs up and flashes a grin--a real, truly confident grin at the camera.]

An Angel.  I'll see everyone when I get back.

[he waves again and the camera is turned off.]
